New album released on 28th Nov 2019. ***Please note all pre-ordered CD’s will be shipped out on 28th November 2019*** This album was originally meant to be our debut album back in 2002-2003. But we didn’t officially release it because we thought the album could’ve sounded a lot better than it did and fully intended to re-record it later that year. Then new songs came about and we made a decision to start work on the next album Hope Shines Through and shelved the first album. But we always played songs from that album live. Fast forward 16 years, John joined the band and shortly after the release of our Lighter E.P, we were playing live shows again and John really liked playing Russian Roulette …

Here’s a blast from the past…… a ticket from one of the very 1st OVERHAUL shows. This is from 25th Sept 1998. What do I remember of this night……. not a lot actually. I do however vaguely remember being very nervous and extremely excited. This was one of the first ticketed live performance OVERHAUL did and I also vaguely remember that our performance was VERY stiff. We’ve definitely loosened up since then but we still get extremely excited and less nervous hahahaha – Andy Gallagher
Myspace….. Bring back memories? Before Twitter, before Facebook, before Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ etc we all had MySpace. I recently revisited MySpace and was amazed how much it had changed. So, inspired we signed up again with MySpace and here’s the link to our page https://myspace.com/realoverhaul Don’t know if MySpace will make a comeback, but if it does…. You can find us on there – Andy

It’s with tremendous honour and excitement to announce that Andy and Graham have officially agreed to join Gordon Gano and The Ryans. Andy will be playing bass guitar and backing vocals and Graham will be on drums for the UK tour dates. This UK Tour will take in the following dates and venues: 28th Aug – Greenbelt Festival, Cheltenham 30th Aug – HMV Institute, Birmingham 31st Aug – Ruby Lounge, Manchester 1st Sept – Jazz Cafe, London 2nd Sept – End Of The Road Fest, Dorset 4th Sept – Electric Picnic Fest, Ireland We look forward to seeing as many of you in the UK as possible on this tour.
Andy was asked last year to record some tracks for a split vinyl album with Boy Dirt Car for After Music Recordings in Minneapolis. So he and Graham Brown went to Cava Sound, Glasgow and recorded two songs for the EP and the other two songs were recorded at Andy’s home in Millport. Now for the very cool bit…… Andy asked his friend and bass legend Mike Watt if he would play bass on the opening track “I Should’ve Stayed In Bed Today” and Watt agreed and knocked it out of the park. The Split vinyl is available as a limited run vinyl. Only 300 copies have been pressed.
OVERHAUL – Here and ThereHere and There was officially released today on THANKSGIVING DAY!!!! Here and There……. the title was taken from a conversation between Andy and Victor when they were discussing the fact the songs were written “here” in Millport, Scotland and recorded “there” in Milwaukee, USA. The lineup and recording location for this OVERHAUL album has definitely strayed a bit from the classic lineup but Andy Gallagher teamed up with Violent Femmes drummer Victor DeLorenzo and Mike Hoffmann (EIEIO/Semi Twang) and recorded the 2nd OVERHAUL album in Milwaukee, Wisconsin which certainly brought a fresh/new feel and dimension to OVERHAUL. We even started our own little record label, Mood Vertigo Recordings, to release “Here and There” and our single “Paranoid.” Here and There is …
